So when you're mortal, your soul goes to heaven (or god forbid, the other place), but say you became immortal and somehow died, would you still go to heaven then or would God see your immortality and just reincarnate you into another body?

NO ONE DIES IMMORTAL. WE ARE MORTAL UNTIL THE RESURRECTION OF GOD. THOSE IS THE 1ST RESURRECTION WILL BE IMMORTAL AND SPIRIT, THOSE IN THE 2ND RESURRECTION REMAIN MORTAL.

If you died as an immortal you aren't immortal and death is the same as anyone else.

If you are immortal then you can't "somehow die". You can only die if your head is cut off by another immortal. In that case, your quickening transfers to the other immortal -- which was his goal in killing you. There can be only one.
