It was months ago but worries me a bit. I'm afraid I'll receive a letter out of the blue demanding money. I've tried to check the website but they don't go back that many months lol

Likely they couldn't read your license plate clearly. Don't worry about if that is the case they will not be able to do anything. Does your current car registration have your current mailing address? If not, you could call the toll authority and make it right before it becomes more expensive.
