How do you dry wet living room carpet?

I've used the wet vac with carpet cleaning solution, now how do I dry the carpet before mold forms.

Making sure that it's just damp and not sopping wet first.  Then keep your heat up to 65 or so AND put a fan on it.

It depends on how much water you are talking about.  There is also a pad under the carpet.  When a home is flooded, they pull up the carpet, because there is little hope of getting it all dry.  If you are talking about a relatively small area, you might try a space heater, fan and a dehumidifier in the room for several day.   If the whole room was flooded, it is less risky to just pull up the entire carpet and pad and replace them.

Just keep the heater above 65 degrees F. May take a day or two.
