Is it possible to regain hair?

I'm 28 and turn 29 in March. Just noticed I lost a significant amount of hair to notice a difference at this point. My dad lost most of his hair already. My brother is going down the same path and he is 27 turning 28 in February. This also happened to one of my cousins on my father side of the family. I'm starting to accept the inevitable but perhaps I should hear if anyone regained some of their hair before. None of my family did anything about their hair loss.

I would use like a thickening mask that you can make at home. Like coconut oil/milk and like eggs with olive oil or aloe Vera
