what kind of plant is this?

just noticed in our backyard on the hill right below a neighbor so if someone is familiar with this type of plant please send pictures of how it looks like. Thanks

It looks like a cross between a dirty sock and a human penis.  Perhaps it's a new species! You colud call it a C0CK SOCK, and go on the talk show circuit, as a famous discoverer, showing the morning ladies your c0ck sock, and.. YOINK!  ..Aw I got the hook.   :(

To me, that appears to be a fully dead cactus.
