You cant Favorite Answers but you can Favorite Questions tho to Favorite them click on the Save Button

Questions and answers cannot be favorited. You have to click on 'Save' below your questions.

You "favorite" (Follow) questions by clicking the ribbon/Save icon just beneath the question. You cannot "favorite" an answer, so will have to just Save the question that contains the answer you'd like to refer back to in the future. To review your Saved/Followed questions, go into your YA activity by clicking your username/avatar (or going here /activity) and clicking on the 'Followed Questions' tab.

To show your appreciation for a quality answer, giving it a Thumbs Up (click the thumbs up icon beneath it) is appropriate, but that doesn't cause that answer to be saved to a list for you to refer to later.
