Was jolt cola more Caffeinated than the energy drinks of today like red bull, rock star and monster?

I'm a 90s kid who never got to try Jolt...then again I don't remember when it was discontinued. Bonus was it really any good or was it just practically sugary coke?

"All the sugar and twice the caffeine" was the slogan way back when. For a 12 ounce can that was still less than a cup of coffee. 

I had some, it wasn't bad but not great.
