Why is vibration damper pulley wobbling? 2005 Grand Caravan?
Squealing coming from one of the pulleys on this 05 Dodge Grand Caravan. The pulley noted as vibration damper appears to be wobbling. Also, power steering resovoire is bubbling all the time. Doesn't appear to be leaking. Fluid level looks good. Tried bleeding the power steering by jacking up front of car and turning wheel, but still bubbling. Could the pump be going bad and causing the wobble on the damper pulley?

Orthodoxy = the only true faith; Roman Catholics tried one cup - one spoon ritual and got sick with Bubonic plague; if heresy enters Orthodox monastery then monks/nuns will get sick with flu/tuberculosis (for instance); Orthodox churches who closed for COVID or had disposable cups/spoons or dipped spoon into alcohol are no longer brides of Christ (now they serve Satan and honor Satan's new COVID religion). Don’t go into UFO to be “healed” by evil demons; demons never do good.
If the power steering is working leave it alone. Harmonic balancers have a rubber layer between the outer pully and the inner part that slides onto the crankshaft. Many times the rubber layer deteriorates and the outer pulley moves out of position and the harmonic balancer needs replacing.
This engine is known to have a problem with end play of the crankshaft. This might explain the wobbling. The thrust washer needs to be replaced. If not done it can result in the engine seal blowing out. If this is the case the thrust washer is on the transmission end of the engine. Hopefully it was replaced under a recall. The engine also is known to have problems with the harmonic balancer. Here is how it is done: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0CxstAyBaz4
