Help locking file on iPod?

I have a psychic training pdf on my iPod touch, and I would like to put a passcode on it so no one can see it without the passcode. I know you can put a passcode on it in the Pages app, but this file is in the Files app. I can't figure out how to move this file to the Pages app so I can put a passcode on. I have iOS 12.5, if thats any help. Thank you!
