What to expect for a cervical colposcopy?
my pap test came back normal, but unfortunately it showed that I have high risk HPV. I have my colposcopy tomorrow morning & I just wanted to know what they do? kinda nervous.

Have them explain what they are going to do when you go in, Usually it uses a special scope to see the cervix up close after they coat it with acetic acid to highlight certain tissue. what happens after that will depend on findings--ask them
