New Orleans has its own culture. The architecture in the French Quarter are left from the French influence, with a lot of wrought iron. It can be fun to go there (not in a pandemic) because the food is wonderful, and there are lots of bars and clubs. BUT don't go in the middle of the summer! It's very hot and humid. The best months are March-May and October-November.
