Will a snowblower make it up a fairly steep and long driveway?

My pick up with plow broke down today. I’m thinking of replacing it with a 24 inch width, 20 inch intake, 6 h.p. self propelled push behind Toro snowblower. My driveway is long at about 475 feet and half of it has a fairly steep incline (about 22 degree angle) and is not paved (gravel). I’ve never used a snowblower before but I’m tired of the costly maintenance of the truck. Should a snowblower be able to handle a steep driveway and would it help to put chains on the wheels? Thanks
p.s. It snows frequently here and  is usually over 10 inches.

Chains will help. Look at getting a model that has tracks. Another problem could be the oil level on the incline. The oil can move to the back of the engine or the front while going  up or down the hill. Either read the manual before you buy it to look for incline limits, or after you buy it set it on the incline, shut it off, and check the oil level after a while to see if the oil gets too low.
