Is there a big difference between climbing Ben Nevis and Mount Everest/K2?

I recently ascended to the summit of Ben Nevis and had a good time, and I am now looking at more mountains to consider. 

I was wondering if there's a big difference between climbing Ben Nevis and mountains like Everest and K2?

Yeah, about 24,619 feet for Everest and 23,838 feet for K2.
