They seldom come up with ideas to solve our problems, but they are always eager to bad mouth anything that is presented to them. We should have two parties expressing alternative solutions to the multitude of problems we face, not one who sits back and waits to tear down the other's ideas

Many people actually used to look to themselves to solve their own problems. And they can best accomplish that by keeping more of their own monies earned, and without third parties pretending to know what is better for you than you do for yourself.
