Name of car issue?

I have a 2017 sentra. Only when i go from a complete stop, like at a red light, for a second it feels like my transmission slips or something. (I'm not sure what a slipping transmission feels like). Whatever it is, it seems like there's a small delay. It only happens when i press the gas while at a complete stop. Does not happen in reverse or at any other time. No other problems.

Does anyone know what this is? Is it a normal thing for this car or certain newer cars? My car has that sport and eco settings and i don't know if that has anything to do with it. I just bought it last week and not use to modern cars

There can be a front motor mount that is bad and has play in it that can feel that way. Check you ATF level to make sure it isn't low. Those CVT transmissions have all sorts of problems. It's best to go to the dealer every 60,000 miles and have them service the tranny. That way when it fails you have records and a better chance of getting a customer goodwill warranty to replace it.
