Pizza 50cm diameter vs 40cm x 60cm?
I am a stupid person, so I need to ask. How can I calculate how much larger the 40x60 Pizza is than the Pizza with the 50cm diameter?

50 cm dia, 25 cm radius,
area = πr² = π25² = 1960 cm²
40x60, area = 40•60 = 2400 cm²
rectangular one is larger by 440 cm² or 22%

to keep the numbers simple just for you the area of the rectangle = 4*6 = 24 and of the circle = pi() * 25/4 so the ratio rectangle / circle
= 24*4/(25*pi()) = 1.222 or 22.2% bigger

Area of a circle is pi * radius * radius
Area of a rectangle is length * width
Radius is diameter / 2
Answer is Approximately 400 sq cm
