Why do I constantly receive phone call with no one on the other end?

They just call and after a few seconds hang up. Is anyone even on the other end?

Yes, a telemarketer. What they do is automatically call by computer ten numbers and they talk to the first that answers. The other nine get a few seconds of silence before the computer cuts them off. Those auto systems can probably call fifty numbers at a time.

Someone is harassing you. Just don't answer. If it's important, they will leave a message.
