Will road salt and gravel hurt snowblower?

I have a large 2-stage snowblower. My question is if the pile of snow at the end of the driveway from the township plows that has salt and gravel mixed in with the snow could damage the auger (steal) or impeller on my machine? Thanks.

Only if they are large enough to jam it and you used the wrong shear pins or the clutch for the auger is not adjusted correctly.

No.  Just plow on through.  Gravel and salt are nothing.
