In my modest opinion: justice and equity are corollaries.

The real justice must be proclaimed and practice by all the Prophets of GOD (May GOD be pleased with them all ) through out the history of mankind and then being recorded in all the Holy Books of GOD, from the first till the last one. For the last Holy Book of GOD called, Al Quran, as  being revealed by GOD to Muhammad (Sal) HIS last Prophet , do confirm how to exercise justice among mankind of the last generation before the last hour comes. So my religion or morality, then is only one true source of how to implement the real Justice and Peace to the people of the world and at the same time forbid all injustice and atrocities of all the oppressors of the world. So those who bring out these justice to the world at large ,must then be the people of GOD whom being appointed by the Prophet (Sal) after him, that would continue till the last hour comes.(Al Quran 35:24)

As I see it, if justice isn't fair, it isn't justice.
And no, imposing my brand of justice throughout the world is not a must. I'm not a control freak. Not to mention, trying to do so would be futile, and would almost certainly do more harm than good.

Justice meted out by humanity must be fair, civilized and humane throughout the world.

I don't know what you mean by "must". If you mean, Wouldn't it be lovely? then yes, of course. If you mean it really IS, you are very mistaken.
