What do you think of this comment: New mask to help beat #covid-19!  ?

Saw this on Facebook. Someone posted this and something else in the selfie of them wearing their new purple mask as if that's going to help beat this whole thing What are y'all think?

Sorry for all the confusion but what I'm trying to get at is one person has a mask and is wearing it and they say because they're wearing a mask that is not tight to the nose because there's no piece to squish onto your nose and it's not tight underneath your mouth by the chin that she is helping to beat covid-19. My thing is does wearing a mask necessarily entitle you to say I'm beating this or it's going to be beat because I'm wearing a mask even if inproperly.

Basically this person is saying I'm immune I'm wearing a mask nothing can stop me. I'm not wearing double masks but I'm wearing one mask properly but not tight fitting around the nose or you can pinch it closed and a little bit big under by my chin but I'm wearing a mask so I'm going to beat this virus as if her wearing a mask is helping beat the virus like a sense of entitlement like look what I'm doing I'm helping beat the virus.

well i think sound wonderful . you know that by you imagine that good ideas that you picked out . you can make own group page on facebook only have to following their new rules about what cant or can add on to your own group .what is about so that can be use for only for allowing only your friends and family members to be join  your masks group page or can be use for any one who wanted to be in your group and talking about the their healthy of covid 19 by sharing comments or whatever you want to be. its free to make it.

Yes, masks help.  Period.  You are about 95% LESS likely to get the virus WITH a mask than without.  If everyone would mask up when around other people, we could reduce the spread quite quickly.  Masks alone won't do it, but they do HELP.

The addition of another layer of masking has recently been recommended in the US, a disposable under a two-layer cloth mask.

The intent is to minimize the spread of some of the more-contagious COVID variants coming from other parts of the world.
