Why would I be randomly logged out of websites using Windows 7 Pro?

Yes, I know Windows 7 is no longer supported.  That's not my question.

When I WAS using Windows 7 Pro, AFTER support ended, I had zero problems.  I did run Malwarebytes Premium and Avast.  No, Avast and Malwarebytes don't slow my computer down, been using computers for 30+ years.

Please bear with me on this: If I signed into my yahoo mail, and created a bookmark to go straight to the inbox, after 2 or 3 weeks, I'm logged out and have to sign back in.  Same with the google mail, and I don't believe yahoo or google have timeouts to where you'd be signed out so much like that.

I spoke with one guy in IT, he didn't think the OS no longer supported was linked to being signed out.

So I'm really trying to find a reasonable explanation other than the usual, "come on man, win7 is no longer supported" SO WHAT??  It was STILL working for a time, and then just started logging me out.

I have since began using crapwin 10 and haven't been signed out randomly like what I was.

If you can provide any helpful advice for the question asked, it's appreciated.  Thank you.

Okay.  Well the odd thing is that, I've been using 10 now for 3 weeks, and the random signing out hasn't happened.

websites change their rules. Google logs you out every week now. Yahoo too, i think. i have Windows 10 and it does it even to me.
unless you use an app, then it leaves you signed in indefinitely. google said that that will change soon though...websites are focusing more on security these days.

This happens to everyone, periodically they are signed out - I suspect this is for security reasons, happens with Yahoo, google and other forums and probably others. I am using Win 10 so its nothing to do with Win 7
