When the weather channel talks about weather in the Midwest why do they always talk Chicago weather. ?

It seems like they talk about weather in any Midwest state. It’s always Chicago.

Would you prefer tvh eyes use St. Lois or Oklahoma City or New Orleans. Many cold fronts that go through dental Oklahoma don't make it to New Orleans. I was born in New Orleans?and grew up in New Orleans?and the?Oklahoma panhandle. I've lived on central Oklahoma for 0 YVEARCS?. The Midwest is huge. Generally speaking, Chicago weather is more interesting (and has a higher viewer population) than other cities in the midwest.  But I suspect that you have a case of what is called 'observational bias'
