It will soon be eradicated. More than a million Americans getting vaccinated every single day since janurary. The effort is increasing with the help of state national guard, and FEMA providing federal relief to get vaccines in low income zipcodes who otherwise wouldn't be able to afford it. It will soon be required for children to get enrolled in public schools, etc. Vaccines are being shipped out to smaller countries in large amounts and various world health organizations are helping out. The problem we face is people not wanting to get the vaccines claiming it will turn them into some biotic humanoid, and the media using scare tactics to boost this ideal. It's absolutely horrid. USA has just topped 500k deaths, which is alot, but honestly when I go out in public I hardly see people wearing mask anymore, even when I go to work (WALMART.) It seems they never even get sick either, but kudos to them I guess,

You optomisum is most touching, and particularly when some hope is beginning to be imagined that some improvement is beginning to be a possibility.
Howoever, today it has just been announced that Influenza kills about 11000 of the human race each year, and as we have no cure for this, we simply have to accept and live with it. It is now considered that the present Covid virus may have to be accepted in the say way, and just become regarded as an ever present virus.
Would suggest that your belief that it could one day not be a continuous problem is bordering on the extremely optimistic.
