If ON = 5x - 7, LM = 4x + 8, NM = y - 6, and OL = 5y - 5,

The opposite sides of a parallelogram are equal.
ON = LM and OL = NM
5x - 7 = 4x + 8
x = 15
5y - 5 = y - 6
y = -1/4
?
Is there a typo for the length of OL ??
You have OL = Sy-5
Did you mean OL = 5Y-5 OR OL = 2y-5 ???
