In a few million years, would a visitor to the Rockies expect to see pointy mountain tops?

A few million years is a relatively short period of time when it comes to reshaping the mountains. It will take far more than that or rather something cataclysmic, which is more likely.

The current Rocky Mountains already have pointed Mountain tops that are getting eroded down. The Rocky Mountains are a relatively young mountain cordillera from the Laramide orogeny.in a few million years the Rocky Mountain peaks MIGHT be a little more rounded, but not necessarily. The Rocky Mountains are still rising in many areas.
