What is good software or a site for writing down the music note sheets?

I'm using Noteflight.com now but maybe there is something better out there... I need something to write down music notes with different tools available and so it could play the music I wrote. Can you suggest something?

I like Finale.  It is easy to use and creates professional-looking music sheets.  Better versions are available if you are willing to pay.
