That model is manufactured by Funai Corporation for Magnavox and there is apparently no region-free firmware in existence for it.
In general, the generic brand DVD players that are sold under many different names do often have region select or region free capability.
Big-name types only sold as a single brand very rarely do.

The best thing to do is buy an "all-region, all-format" player.
Region codes cannot be "overridden".
If you insist on trying, know these facts before you start:
Some machines can be modified ("hacked"); others cannot,
and those that can be sometimes don't work the same afterward.
Most can't be made region-free, and changing them back may not be possible.
Every model that can be hacked needs a different procedure,
so don't try anything recommended for any model other than the one you have.
Be aware that it is easier to "brick" a player than to change its region!

I lived overseas and purchased a number of region 2 DVDs.
I invested in a REGION-FREE DVD player over 20 years ago.
