We only know what the bible tells us about the amount of people who are truly saved.  Those who are saved are small minority....Few

Jesus said that many are self-deceived, believing that they are saved, when they were never saved, even if they were baptized.  Baptism does not save but is a public declaration that we put out hope in the saving grace of Jesus and his atonement for our sin.
