EU roaming problem?

Hey there, Europeans! As soon as the pandemic starts to be over and things start going to normal I'll have my first trip ever abroad! I have heard of "Roam like at home" and want to take advantage of it but the problem is I have a very low 6 euros phone contract, with 15GB at home and almost 2GB abroad monthly in the EU. Not sure if this low amount of data will be enough for a week or two vacation in another EU country.
What solutions do you have in mind?

Hotels should have wifi so use that when in your hotel, just don't stream out side it. The same with many cafes and bars.
Also talk to your phone company about temporarily upping your allowances
