Should I see a doctor about my heart?? Advice please?

I'm a 17 yr old male and basically these past couple months I've been getting a ton of PAC's that can last for hours at a time, extra beats , fluttering around my heart and random pauses that last about 1.5 - 2 seconds in duration accompinied by a weird pressure feeling in my head....and all of this isn't consistant, it comes and goes but i get at least a couple of those symptoms throughout each day, see the thing is though, i basically turned into a major hypochondriac about this in the past month, being convinced somethings wrong, constantly feeling my heartbeat and staying up until 3am researching my conditions. I told my parents about this and they don't really seem to take me too serious and don't think i need to se a doctor since I've always had a healthy heart in my previous checkups. They thing its just my anxiety, I've been diagnosed with Generalized Anxiety Disorder when I was 9 .But I don't feel like I can get peace of mind until I know from a doctor that nothings wrong. What should I do?? I'm completely at a loss here. It's gotten to the point where I dont want to leave the house much because I fear my heart will stop

My advice is to talk with your parents some more and lead the conversation with the last line in your question.  Tell your parents your GAD has gotten out of control and its ruining your life.  Tell them you need to see a doc about the GAD.  Don't bring up the heart stuff as the medical concern- refer to the heart stuff only as a trigger for the GAD.  When you see the doc you can explain about your heart symptoms and the doc can consider how to proceed.  It probably wouldn't hurt to wear a holter monitor for a day or two to capture a few of the heart events you have been experiencing.   Ultimately, getting the GAD under control is the key to a better future.
