Would it be possible to completely boycott China? Or do we (the West) rely on them too much?
Say we decided we wanted nothing more to do with the Chinese because of what they have done to the people on every country on our planet (viruses). And we wanted to stop all business with them, could we reasonable do this?
Chinese restaurants- There's nothing to stop local Westeners from learning how to make Chinese food and starting up "Chinese themed restaurants and takeaways". In other words we would only eat "Chinese" takeaways from establishments run by locals (not Chinese people).
Technology- Is China really the only country we get this stuff from? Doesn't a lot of tech and electrical stuff come from Japan, Thailand etc? Can't we just do business with them instead of China? Or do we deal with China because it's a lot cheaper?
Could we easily live our lives having zero business relations with China?

Look at REASONS why things come from China. Disregard the environment, but it is a valid reason China has American factories. Apple, IBM, Xerox- l suppose it is American... Xerox ought to be as American as Bayer aspirin!! WAGES. I spoke to several Chinese in Peking, or Beijing as America currently says. Chinese say Pay-cheen, but that is a different story... Chinese factories pay about $200 USD a month to workers. Try to calculate what an American factory worker would want. $15 an hour, or $2400 a month? Good pay in Texas... So if you want a robust Dow Jones price, cheap clothes and shoes, and dollar batteries, you WILL be in bed with the Chinese. AND cheap iPhones, Xerox machines, flat screen TVs, Volvos... go China!! go China!! rah rah rah!!
All the money we have in our deficit was borrowed $25 Trillion ++++ Who have we borrowed most of our money from????? You guessed it.....China!!! If we try to punish them, they will destroy our economy and call in their loans which the US can never repay.
China's restaurant is dotted around many city center and residential area ,what's the point of you boycotting china's restaurant ? the Pandemic worldwide has nothing to do with China ,what's more ,China is not the genesis of Corona virus ,you should read some articles about corona virus research ,the study by medical science showed that Corona virus traced its origin back to before January 2020.I hope that some citizens don't be fooled by cunning trick by politician ,why are there many people still think that Corona virus come from china ? because politician try to use once in a lifetime opportunity to suppress china's development ,and hold China accountable
I think that China is growing quickly ,and is getting ahead of US in some fields,so some politician often label corona virus as China's virus ,and have ulterior motive for doing this ,what it boils down to is that China has represented the biggest security threats to US and threaten the dominance of many fields ,it is well known that US is taking countermeasures to surround china,and often send reconnaissance plane to collect intelligence
technologically ,US is using its influence to persuade its ally not to use Huawei 5G network ,so some western country chose not to use Huawei 5G network equipment ,due to pressure from US ,
