How can I practice singing in the apartment?

If I have to live in an apartment with neighbors around who can practically hear me, can I practice singing and sing everyday. Cause unfortunately, I haven't been singing for many years, so my voice is not so beautiful to be confident that's why I don't really want people to hear me singing now, but I need to practice and improve it somehow. In the house, it would be much easier as nobody except me but there is an apartment with people behind the walls... How can I do it? There can be people who wanna live under strict rules and in complete silence like it's a graveyard

You can always sing in the shower. If you’re not a great singer, I’m not sure why you feel the need to sing so much. I’m assuming you won’t be joining a band or choir. You have a right to sing in your own apartment, but just remember that people really don’t wanna hear it all the time. If the neighbors expect absolute silence, they shouldn’t be living in an apartment. Just keep your singing to a reasonable volume, and refrain from doing it late at night or early in the morning.
