Why is the gospel of Christ THE POWER OF GOD but today's Christians have NONE when Jesus said He'd given it to them (Jn 17:22)?

II Thess 1:8 (((DOES NOT))) tell us (((WHAT))) "the gospel" is like Romans 1:16 does saying
"The gospel of Christ is (((THE POWER OF GOD")))
It only tells us to "obey the gospel" that is (((THE POWER OF GOD))).
You can't WEASEL your way out of the truth!
NEITHER does I Corinthians 15:1-4 tell us (((WHAT))) "the gospel of Christ" is

How are you "calling upon His name" when His Name is (((POWER?)))
Since "All (((POWER))) has been given unto Jesus" (Matt 28:18) and Jesus "is no longer in the flesh" (II Cor 5:16) HIS NAME IS (((POWER!)))
