Staap It
5/3rd walk away FAST. I had a large part of my investments there. A "gypsy" broker guy who only showed up if there was an appointment. Otherwise no where to be found. On October 22, I got a letter from 5/3rd saying I MUST take an RMD, so I called the guy right away, he had to be aware because it was them who sent the letter. As he always was, very caviler with my money. Said no problem he will handle it, since I pay him $638 a year Broker Management fee. Come December he had not asked me to come in and sign any papers. With the holidays, and the hectic rush after the 1st. I called him the second week of January. "Hey Ryan, I did not get anything about the RMD". He said "Oh, I forgot". not a problem it only requires another page filled out in your IRS Income Tax Filing. Yeah, a $54.00 charge to fill out one more page to me. NO PROBLEM ? I asked who will pay the $2000.00 fine if the IRS issues one ? Of course you know I got no answer. I DEMANDED he send me a letter in case I need to for the IRS stating he FORGOT, not me dodging taking it. He did, kind of admitted he made a mistake. In addition .... his investments I LOST $15,000 of my money that first year.
I highly suggest to GET YOUR STUFF OUT OF THERE NOW !
Just a warning, read the other reviews of that bank online. You'll see.

I used to bank in Fifth-Third, back in Ohio. Unfortunately it's been decades since I've tried to call them. They were a good bank where I lived in Ohio.
