physics question?

The total mass of fresh water on earth is 3.5 x 10^19 kg. suppose all this water has a temperature of 10 C. supposed the entire energy output of the sun is used to bring all the earths freshwater to a boiling temperature of 100 C, after which the water is completely vaporized. How much total energy must be added to the fresh water through heat in order to raise the temperature to the boiling point and vaporize it?

Q1: Energy needed to change the temperature from 10 to 100 to bring it to boiling point=

Q2: Energy to change it from a water to steam=

Q1: 3.5E19kg * 4186J/kg·ºC * 90ºC = 1.32E25 J
Q2: 3.5E19kg * 2.256E6J/kg = 7.90E25 J
but check your reference tables for water's heat of vaporization
