So for my birthday I got a MacBook Pro, an iPhone 5c, AirPods, and $600. I commented about how old the iPhone X was and how I wished I got the iPhone X and my parents called me an entitled, spoiled teen. That’s unfair, isn’t it? I wouldn’t be spoiled, right. Could someone please explain if I’m a spoiled teen and why?
In this hypothetical scenario I was commenting on how the iPhone 5c was old, not the iPhone X.

You were given a GIFT of an item and wished it had been the different version. Yes, you are and entitled, spoiled teen. The proper response by a NON Entitled NON Spoiled teen should have been "Oh thank you so much, I so appreciate all these wonderful gifts."

It doesn't matter though. After receiving all those gifts, a laptop, a phone, headphones and cash, the only correct and proper reaction would be to say "Thank you!" and probably a ton of kisses to both your mom and dad. Adding crocodile tears to your exalting display of jubilation would be a huge a plus.
