Roommate plotting to get rid of me! how to monitor wifi network?

So I got wiff from outside sources today my roommate wants to get rid of me so he can take over the place for my protection i would like to know what he is up to. to figure out i would like to track his communications through his iphone that is connected to MY wifi. Could some one hold my hand and please explain how i can do this either from ssh servers wireshark ettercap or anything else?

SSH (and most other internet communication these days) is encrypted. You can't view its contents. At best, you might be able to see where they are connecting to. Generally, in order to log data with Wireshark / Ettercap, you need to run one end of the connection in promiscuous mode. This means you need to run it on your router/modem, not your computer. Most router firmware will not allow you to do this. You would need to install a third-party firmware, like DD-WRT, if it's available for your router.
