I filed my taxes about 6 weeks ago. I don't owe the IRS anything. I got the very first stimulus check in April 2020 but nothing this year. I have not received my $600 stimulus, my $1,400 stimulus and worst even, my federal return. Can anyone here relate? What do you suppose is going on?

Hey. . I am with you. Very frustrating to say the least. My accountant filed my taxes and IRS accepted the electronic tax on 2/13. I was supposed to get a refund.. but not yet. My husband who used the same accountant, also e-filed his taxes on 3/15 and already gotten his return. I cannot even call the IRS number.. for 2 weeks I have called every single day.. different times of the day and I get the same message.. "extremely high call volume" and I have even called the minute they open the doors.
As far as what is going on.. I have no clue and feel totally helpless. I can guarantee you this.. if we owed the IRS.. we would be paying penalties and interest.
