Looking for Microphone to add bass to my voice for Podcasting?
I need a microphone that gives me that nice bassy voice that you hear on the radio or pro podcasts. I don't want a flat voice for my podcast. I want a rich bassy voice for my podcast. What Mic brands do you recommend? What are there prices? Why do you recommend them? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you just want a basic USB mic that has a good frequency response, go for a Samson Meteor.
The downside with USB is that it can never be used with anything other than a PC/Computer. As long as you are happy with that, it's fine.
For compatibility with anything professional or for more versatility, you need a separate audio interface, eg. a Focusrite Scarlett 2i4.
Once you have such an interface you can use professional type XLR connected mics.
The MXL ones are generally the best value. The MXL990 is pretty good for the price and you can get a kit with mic and mounting cradle for less than $100.
Or an MXL V87 is one of the very top ones, as good as some costing thousands.
(Note that a large percentage of supposed "condenser" mics aimed at non professionals are scams, just a cheap electret capsule in a fancy casing. Those MXL ones are genuine condenser mics).
