Is anyone else getting calls from a spam risk all day long?

they call from nine in the morning and sometimes even earlier and will keep calling until almost nine in the evening

I only have a land line. I have to keep my answering machine off because when they call, they hang on so my machine thinks someone is leaving a message

I used to, but I downloaded an app called “RoboKiller” and haven’t received one since.  I’m sure there are other apps for the same purpose, and possibly free (I think I pay about a dollar a week).  All I know is that for that small sum, which I never miss, I have eliminated every single annoyance call; which I don’t miss one bit.
It’s worth it to me.
