Blood moons are predicted to 'unnaturally' increase as one of the signs of the end of the age, causing perplexity among the nations.
The sun will also be obscured, which will either be from conditions here or unexpected eclipses. Since science has mathematical prediction skills now for every celestial and lunar event past, present and future, (thanks to a Renaissance era Christian named 'Johannes Kepler'), this will be especially disconcerting and alarming to everyone. Neither set of events will be because of the 'final stage' of the sun, however.
These events won't 'damage' anything at all. They are just 'signs' meant to wake humanity up to GOD's existence and the unreliability of their current viewpoints.

That would be an extremely exceptional thing to occur, as the estimated time until our sun ought to become red giant is close to 5bn years from now. There are quite a lot of ways that the moon could become 'red' though in appearance. The text though is quite clear that just 1 or 2 signs among the many listed would not indicate the general event, but instead all together simultaneously would be what's indicated by the wording. Unless you have faith though, this won't help you much to know.

By the time our sun enter's it's Red Giant phase, the human race will be long gone.

A red moon appears in three circumstances. During a lunar eclipse, the moon appears red as it passes through Earth's shadow. When the moon is low in the sky it also can take on a reddish hue. The third event that causes a red moon is the presence of some kind of micro particle in the air. This can happen after a volcanic eruption or forest fire.

That's still 5-7 billion years away.
