Infected root canal, cause or coincidence?
For well over a year now, maybe over 2, I have had a small puss filled lump that develops on the gums right above my root canaled tooth. The tooth is second to last molar on the right top side. The only treatment my insurance will cover is removing the tooth, so I never got treatment.
Since about 2-3 months before the little pimple thing appeared I have been having sinus, ear, nose and eye problems on that side (right side) of my head. Could all these problems be linked to the infection I’ve had brewing in my tooth for 1-2 years now?
I would ask my dentist, but English is not his first language and it is hard to understand him sometimes. I worry he doesn’t quite understand me either most of the time.
He is aware of the situation, but never really said much about it. Just that he could recommend someone to extract the tooth because regular dentists don’t do that apparently.
Apparently I’ve spelled pus with two S’s and that is hilarious to some people. My bad.
