I need help with scholarships!?

I was trying to apply for scholarships earlier with my mother. We were getting into the part where I put in my extracurricular activities but I haven't recently done anything due to COVID-19. My mom said that she'll look into another website because if I haven't done any extracurricular activities then I probably won't get any scholarships. Is this true? What can I do in the meantime? I'm a high school sophomore with a 3.5 GPA, and I used the Tuition Funding Sources website to apply for scholarships. We haven't finished registering by the way.

Why are you applying for scholarships as a high school sophomore?  You shouldn't be applying for college scholarships until your senior year.  By that time you should have more opportunities for extracurricular activities.  In any case, many scholarships DO require some degree of extracurricular work to qualify for a scholarship - they want to reward students who do more and go above and beyond.  But there are also plenty of scholarships based only on grades and/or test scores.  These are often merit scholarships that are awarded automatically by the college or university.

That depends entirely on the decision criteria for each scholarship. Not all scholarships require extracurricular activities. For example, Texas Tech University in Lubbock has a scholarship that is based completely on your GPA and SAT or ACT scores.
