When ER doctors become seriously ill or injured, do they go to their own workplace, or do they tend to go to a different hospital?

They go to 1. the closest 2. one their insurance covers 3. one that has the departments/services they will need. 4. the one their docs have privileges at. Where they work may or may not fit those criteria
