What helps an allergic dog with her allergies? ?

I have a 1 year old mixed chihuahua. She has an extreme out of allergies. She get these horrible itches that would make her skin get bumps or she would scratch so much that
 her skin would look like she’s getting rashes; sometimes they come and go. I’ve taken her to the vet/animal hospital so many times, I feel like it’s a waste of time because nothing has helped! It’s frustrating paying hundreds of dollars and not seeing positive results for my baby girl! They have even kept her for 6 hours before to monitor her. I did an allergy test to see what she’s exactly allergic to so I can keep her from it. However, vet pretty much suggested prescription pebbles for her food and shots for her allergies. She has been on her food for months now and she has gotten so many shots and I don’t see any improvement. My heart hurts seeing my dog in pain. I put her ointment all over her rashes and she still gets extremely bad itches. Please, any recommendations or suggestions? I am taking her to the vet yet again, tomorrow.

Take her to another vet to be seen I had a dog she was being treated for a fungal infection when it was so bad she had to be put to rest from this mess the other vet said this was the worst bacterial infection he'd ever seen in a dog  before he put my precious baby to sleep so might want to see another vet and get an other option have you tried coconut oil for her even allow her to eat some after all its coconut oil.

Have you tried changing the detergent you use for your laundry.  Remember, small dogs probably spend a lot of time on things like blankets, towels, your bed, you and your clothing that have been washed in your detergent.  There is some chance your dog is allergic to something in your laundry soap.

Also, do you bath your dog.  Your dog might have an issue with what you use on her.  

I am sure the vet has already suggested food allergies and flea allergies which are also two more common allergies for some pets.
