NY Yankees Lost?

The Yankees lost the Opening Day game to the Blue Jays. This is a bad sign. With Cole on the mount, it must be a sure win. However, I don't blame the players. I blame BASEBALL ANALYTICS. Let the players be players. Most baseball analysts never played professionally. What do they know about baseball? The same is happening in the schools. People that know nothing about teaching have been given the task of preparing curriculums across the board. Let the players be players and teachers be teachers.
You say?

Just because they lost the first game, does not mean they will have a bad season.

Statistics are analytics.  Batting average, ERA, HR/RBI, BB/SO...it's all analytics.

What to statisticians know about baseball?  More than you.  Analytics aren't a substitute for learning the fundamentals of the game and nobody thinks this.  It's simply a better rollup of performance and finding new statistics that help identify opportunities to win.

Obviously you learned logic from someone who was clueless... so perhaps you have a small point if that was in school.

This is why no one respects Yankees """"""""""""""fans"""""""""""""

It's one game.  Relax.  It's a long season.
