There is no rational way to know the answer without risking gullible belief in what is reported or claimed by politicians or media heads who have an obvious agenda. A sane person takes their output at arms length. Others take the same unreliable output to use in expressing their own obvious agenda.

I believe that according to pre-trump official statistics (all I know) African Americans are convicted of more crimes than other races, but that difference disappears for everything apart from murder once you adjust for income levels. It's not clear why that's the case. Police are more motivated to 'solve' murders though.

Yeah that's true I ain't gone deny that. The white man commits the most crimes though but after that it's us, sure.
But WHY we gots to do that? That's the question nobody asks. If you poor and your stomach's empty and you go Walmart and leave without paying for the groceries that's a crime. If you can't afford health insurance and you in chronic pain and you poor, you might go to the guy on the corner and get you some pain relief, well that's a crime too according to the man.
Well then WHY ARE WE IN SUCH A TERRIBLE CONDITION? We done made a greater contribution to the success of this country than any other "minority" group here but we treated the worst, we get back the least, we still on the bottom so make yo next question bout THAT.
