Is 2 Gb of RAM enough for an android phone?
I am looking for a budget Android phone. I am not planning to play any games, but I will use it for messaging apps, banking apps, watching youtube videos and browsing the web. Would 2Gb be enough?

If RAM were the only factor, then yes. But most cheap phones have almost no space on them, and not all apps can be installed on an SD card.

You could manage with 2gb of RAM but I suggest you might want to add a micro SD card to add more memory where you can store your apps and files. Most phones will take at least a 32gb micro SD card and they are coming down in price. More RAM would improve your experience but we do not all have money to spend on expensive phones. 2GB will work.
