Is urinating in bottles haram?
Amazon admitted its warehouse workers have to urinate in bottles. Given that "cleanliness is half our deen", is it halal or haram for employees to do that?

It wasn’t their warehouse workers but their delivery drivers.
The alternatives are that delivery drivers pîss in the street, pîss in their pants, or pîss in the van.
Taking a whizz into an empty bottle is the cleanest option as long as the bottles are correctly disposed of and not just tossed out of the window.
It’s often been difficult for drivers to find places with available toilets but in the last year it’s gone crazy. Loads of bars and restaurants which were useful have closed. Lots of refuelling stations have closed their lavatories to “avoid spreading covid”; in reality it’s been because site operators saw a cost cutting opportunity as cleaning conveniences costs cash.
So I and many other drivers regardless of religion have been forced to copy what truck drivers amd crane operators have done for decades and piddle into bottles. Most of us carry handwipes and sanitiser gel these days, and many also carry disposable gloves.
But if you look hard enough, you’ll find at least a few idealistic but ignorant Imams who will declare it haram.
