"Get this damn thing buzz off" is not a sentence at all.

"Get this damn thing off!" is an imperative, as is "Buzz off!"

“Get this damn thing off” would be an English imperative.  “Buzz off” is an old fashioned phrasal verb, so you have two verbs in your sentence.  That’s why it doesn’t make sense.
